Pottstown Rotary Club Joins
12th Annual Haunts on High
The Pottstown Rotary Club joined families and community organizations in downtown Pottstown on Saturday for the 12th annual Haunts on High.
The Halloween celebration brought costumes, trick-or-treating and other activities to High Street, with the Rotary Club among the local groups participating in the event.
Following the celebration, the club thanked event organizers, local businesses, volunteers and community members who helped make the annual Halloween tradition possible.
Free Comedy Open Mic Night
Coming to Rivet in Pottstown
More than a dozen comedians are expected to take the stage at Rivet in Pottstown for a free Comedy Open Mic Night on Monday, Oct. 19.
The show begins at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Hosted by Jesse Marchese, the open mic will feature comedians performing five-minute sets of new material.
The event is presented by the nonprofit Die Laughing, which uses comedy events to raise funds and awareness for the Penn Medicine Lung Transplant Program. Admission is free, and attendees must be 18 or older with a valid ID.
Food from J.J. Ratigan will be available to order during the show, along with drinks from the bar. Free parking will also be available.
Comedians interested in performing can sign up in person beginning 30 minutes before the show. Both new and experienced performers are welcome.

Lorenzo’s Steaks, Hoagies and Pizza
Announces New Boyertown Location
Lorenzo’s Steaks • Hoagies • Pizza is expanding to Boyertown with plans to open its fourth location.
The new restaurant will be located at 159 South Reading Avenue in Boyertown.
An official opening date and menu have not yet been announced. Additional details are expected to be released as the restaurant prepares to open.
