Pottstown Middle School Plans Spooky October Activity Night for Students
Pottstown Middle School will host a Spooky October Activity Night for seventh- and eighth-grade students on Wednesday, Oct. 14.
The event will run from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the middle school gym and will feature games, contests, music, prizes and other activities. Costumes are encouraged.
Admission is $5, and a $1 snack bar will offer items including candy and popcorn.

Pottstown Library to Host Youth
Illustrator Workshop With Terry LaBan
Young artists will have an opportunity to learn from author and illustrator Terry LaBan during a special workshop at the Pottstown Regional Public Library on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
The Youth Illustrator Workshop will run from 4 to 6 p.m., with all materials provided for participants.
LaBan is the author and illustrator associated with “Mendel the Mess-Up,” which is featured in the library’s promotion for the program.
The workshop is being paid for by the Montgomery County Library District. Questions can be directed to [email protected].

The annual event is part of the fire company’s fire prevention outreach to the community.
