State Theatre of Boyertown Marks
11 Years of Restoration Work

The State Theatre of Boyertown is highlighting more than a decade of restoration work that has transformed the historic venue while preserving its original character.
The theatre recently shared a comparison of its interior in 2015 and 2026, showing improvements completed over the past 11 years. Projects have included new seats, carpeting, paint, lighting and other upgrades throughout the building.
The restoration has involved thousands of hours of work, along with fundraising and support from volunteers, donors, businesses, patrons and other community members.
The State Theatre originally opened its doors in 1912, and organizers say additional improvements are still planned.
