After a June/July court settlement with the township, the company plans to set the containers on leveling strips within about two to three months.
When finished, the site will hold about 60,480 square feet of single-level self-storage (including 11 ADA units), plus drive aisles, fencing, a security gate, and stormwater controls.

Pottstown History:
Maj. Gen. John Rutter Brooke

John Rutter Brooke, born July 21, 1838, in the Pottstown / Lower Pottsgrove area, became a Civil War hero at Gettysburg when he led about 1,000 men in a charge across the wheatfield. He rose to major general and, after the Spanish-American War, served as U.S. military governor of Puerto Rico from October to December 1898, then of Cuba from December 1898 to December 1899.
A local name most neighbors have never heard, Brooke retired in 1902 and is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
