West Pottsgrove Township Police Department Hiring Full-Time Officer
The West Pottsgrove Township Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time police officer, with applications due by 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9.
The position offers a starting salary of $78,594, with a top patrol officer salary of $108,517, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, be a U.S. citizen and meet other department requirements, including MPOETC Act 120 certification.
Qualified applicants will participate in a physical agility test beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Pottsgrove High School track. A written examination will follow at the West Pottsgrove Township Building.

Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza Returns to Oaks Sept. 17-20
The Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza returns to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks from Sept. 17-20 for its 33rd annual event.
Presented by Mancuso Show Management, the four-day festival will feature an extensive collection of quilts along with textile and wearable art. Attendees can also visit the Merchants Mall, featuring vendors offering supplies and products for quilters and other needle crafters.
The event celebrates Pennsylvania’s quilting heritage while showcasing contemporary work and creativity from the quilting community.
The show will be held in Halls A, D and E, with public entrance through Hall A.
Nicky and Ants Joins Food Truck
Lineup for Pottstown Fall Fest
Nicky and Ants has been announced as the ninth food truck participating in the upcoming Pottstown Fall Fest at SoulJoel’s at SunnyBrook.
Founded by Nick Moccia and Anthony Billetta in 2023, Nicky and Ants began with a food truck concept and has since expanded to two kitchens. The business was also voted “Best Pizza in Pottstown” by Pottstown Local.
Nicky and Ants joins a growing lineup of food vendors planned for the Fall Fest.
Advance tickets for the event are available for $5 through Oct. 1.
