Pottstown Nights Car Show to Close Out Season with VIP Experience Saturday
The Pottstown Nights Car Show is set to wrap up its season with a special finale event on Saturday along High Street in downtown Pottstown.
Car enthusiasts heading to the show can take advantage of a VIP experience, which includes guaranteed premium parking before the event begins. VIP check-in opens at 2 p.m., followed by the main car show from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Organizers encourage attendees planning to bring their vehicles to register in advance to secure a VIP spot and avoid the busiest arrival times.

J.J. Ratigan Brewing Company Celebrates National Dog Day with Free Treats for Pups
J.J. Ratigan Brewing Company is inviting dog lovers to celebrate National Dog Day on Wednesday, Aug. 26, with a special event on its outdoor patio.
Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome in the brewery's outdoor seating area year-round, but National Dog Day brings a few extra perks. Visiting pups will receive a free chicken snack bowl and a complimentary pup cup, while their owners can enjoy extended Happy Hour specials available on the patio.
The brewery encourages guests to bring their four-legged companions and enjoy an afternoon of food, drinks, and dog-friendly fun.
Pottstown Regional Public Library Seeks Community Support for Elevator Repairs
The Pottstown Regional Public Library is asking for community support as it works to restore its out-of-service elevator.
Thanks to generous donors, the library has already raised more than $50,000, allowing the project to move into its first phase. However, with total repair costs expected to exceed $100,000, additional funding is still needed to complete the work.
Library officials say the broken elevator has limited access to important materials and parts of the building for both patrons and staff. They are encouraging anyone who is able to contribute to the fundraising campaign or help by sharing it with others.
