Throughout the Season
Pottstown FARM is encouraging residents to shop local and support the small businesses that make the market a community favorite.
Organizers say the market's dedicated vendors are at the heart of the experience, offering a variety of locally grown produce, handcrafted goods, specialty foods, and other unique products.
The market will continue throughout the season with upcoming dates on September 5, September 19, October 3, and October 17. In addition to shopping, visitors can enjoy special events and community-focused programs held during select market days.
Community members are invited to stop by, explore what local vendors have to offer, and help support small businesses while enjoying one of Pottstown's seasonal traditions.
Historic SunnyBrook Ballroom
Celebrates Special Milestones During
Glenn Miller Performance
The SunnyBrook Ballroom recently welcomed several memorable moments during a Glenn Miller Orchestra performance, highlighting the venue's lasting connection to generations of guests.
Among the evening's celebrations was a guest marking an incredible 99th birthday. The milestone held special meaning, as the guest had originally met his wife while dancing at SunnyBrook decades ago.
Another attendee celebrated an 84th birthday, making the trip from Connecticut for the second consecutive year to enjoy the Glenn Miller Orchestra on his birthday at the historic ballroom.
Adding to the evening's significance, a couple from Easton presented SunnyBrook owner Joel with a 1937 Times Magazine article about the ballroom that they had discovered and purchased on eBay. The vintage publication will be framed and displayed in the venue, preserving another piece of SunnyBrook's rich history.
The SunnyBrook Ballroom continues to honor its legacy by celebrating the memories, traditions, and community connections that have made the landmark a treasured destination for generations.
Fairy Tale Entrance Makes Birthday Celebration Extra Special at
Carousel at Pottstown
A birthday celebration at the Carousel at Pottstown received a magical touch this week when a young birthday princess arrived in storybook fashion.
The guest made a grand entrance in a Cinderella-style carriage pulled by two horses, creating a memorable moment for family, friends, and visitors at the carousel.
Known for hosting birthday parties and special events, the Carousel at Pottstown said the unique arrival made the celebration especially unforgettable, adding a fairy tale atmosphere to an already special occasion.
The Carousel continues to serve as a popular destination for family celebrations and community events in Pottstown.
