Pottstown Regional Public Library Replacing Elmwood Park Zoo Passes with
Brandywine Zoo Passes
The Pottstown Regional Public Library has announced it will discontinue its Elmwood Park Zoo museum passes and replace them with passes to the Brandywine Zoo.
The library's Elmwood Park Zoo passes will be discontinued effective Oct. 1, 2026. In their place, patrons will be able to borrow passes to the Brandywine Zoo, located in Wilmington, Delaware.
Accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA), the Brandywine Zoo is home to a variety of mammals, reptiles, birds, and other wildlife across its five-acre campus. The zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Library patrons interested in borrowing the new Brandywine Zoo passes are encouraged to contact the library to learn more or be added to the holds list.

Pottstown Parks & Recreation Offering Free Adult Pick-Up Soccer at Pollock Park
The Borough of Pottstown Parks & Recreation Department is inviting adults to participate in its free 18+ pick-up soccer program at the soccer pitch in Pollock Park.
The pilot program features two one-hour sessions on Wednesday, Aug. 19, with space limited to 15 players per session. Advance registration is required.
The program is part of a four-week pilot designed to give adults an opportunity to enjoy recreational soccer in a fun and welcoming environment.
