Steel River Playhouse Holding Auditions
for "Miracle on 34th Street"
Steel River Playhouse is seeking performers ages 8 to 80 for its upcoming production of "Miracle on 34th Street."
Auditions will be held on Sunday, Sept. 13, from 1 to 5 p.m. and Monday, Sept. 14, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Callback auditions, if needed, are scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
The production will be directed by Steve Arcidiacono, with performances planned for Dec. 4–20.
Those interested in auditioning should prepare a one- to two-minute contemporary monologue and register in advance using the online sign-up form.

Boyertown Ambulance, Fire & Rescue Collecting Water and Sports Drinks
for First Responders
The Boyertown Community Ambulance Service and Boyertown Fire & Rescue are asking the community to help keep local first responders hydrated by donating bottled water and Gatorade during a weeklong collection drive.
Donations will be accepted Aug. 16–22 at Boyertown Community Ambulance, located at 2 E. Second St., Boyertown. Items can be placed inside The Community Trooper trailer stationed at the ambulance building.
Organizers say every donation helps support the firefighters, EMTs, and other emergency responders who serve the Boyertown community throughout the year.
Community members are encouraged to pick up an extra case of water or sports drinks during their next shopping trip and drop it off to show their appreciation for local first responders.

Comedy Fundraiser at SoulJoel's to
Benefit To Love a Canine Rescue
A night of comedy and fundraising will take place at SoulJoel's at SunnyBrook on Thursday, Aug. 27, with proceeds benefiting To Love a Canine Rescue.
The show will feature comedian Greg Stone, with 50% of ticket sales being donated directly to the rescue organization to support its mission of helping dogs find permanent homes.
General admission tickets are $20, while preferred seating is available for $30.
Organizers are inviting the community to enjoy an evening of laughs while supporting a local animal rescue.
