Michael Winslow Returns to SoulJoel's
for Two Comedy Shows Aug. 1
Actor and comedian Michael Winslow, best known as "The Man of 10,000 Sound Effects," will return to SoulJoel's for two performances on Saturday, Aug. 1.
The shows are scheduled for 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. at SoulJoel's, located at 50 SunnyBrook Road in Pottstown. Doors open 30 minutes before each performance.
Winslow is widely recognized for his ability to recreate an incredible range of sound effects using only his voice. He rose to fame portraying Larvell Jones in the Police Academy film series and has also appeared in Gremlins, Spaceballs, Cheech and Chong's Next Movie, Nice Dreams, and Family Guy. More recently, he showcased his vocal talents on America's Got Talent, earning praise from the judges for his unique performance.
General admission tickets are $25, while preferred seating is available for $35. Food will be available at Gatsby's Pub, and a full bar will be open before, during, and after both shows.

Hobart's Run, The Hill School Seeking Volunteer Opportunities for Students
Hobart's Run and The Hill School are inviting nonprofit organizations and community groups to request student volunteers for upcoming service opportunities this fall and on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Volunteer teams from The Hill School's fall athletic programs will be available to assist organizations on afternoons between Aug. 28 and Sept. 6. Additional student volunteers from across the school will be available on Monday, Jan. 18, from approximately 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Organizations in need of volunteer assistance are encouraged to complete a brief online survey describing their project or service opportunity. Hobart's Run and The Hill School will work to match student groups with participating organizations. Transportation and adult supervision will be provided, while host organizations are asked to provide on-site direction for volunteers.
