Brendan Donegan to Headline
Comedy Show at SoulJoel's
Stand-up comedian Brendan Donegan will headline an evening of comedy at SoulJoel's on Saturday, July 25.
Donegan, who began his comedy career in Philadelphia and now performs regularly in both Philadelphia and New York City, is known for his energetic delivery and relatable storytelling inspired by everyday life, family experiences and personal mishaps.
His career highlights include being a finalist in the New York Comedy Club Stand-Up Competition and the runner-up in Helium Comedy Club's 2024 Philly's Phunniest competition. His comedy has also been featured on TruTV and SiriusXM, and he has appeared at several comedy festivals throughout the Northeast.
The show begins at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. General admission tickets are available for $20.

Carousel at Pottstown to Host
Second Annual Community Day
The Carousel at Pottstown will host its Second Annual Community Day on Saturday, Aug. 8, inviting families to enjoy an afternoon of free activities while supporting a local cause.
The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. and will feature free carousel rides, face painting, a bouncy house, children's activities, and food available for purchase.
From noon to 2 p.m., TLC Rescue will be on site with adoptable dogs, giving attendees an opportunity to meet pets looking for permanent homes.
Organizers say the event is designed to bring the community together while raising support for local families.

Returns to Reading on Saturday July 25
Collectors from across the region will gather in Reading this weekend as the Pennsylvania State Card Show returns to the Redner's Event Center at FirstEnergy Stadium on Saturday, July 25.
Presented by Pal's Sports Cards, the event will feature hundreds of tables showcasing sports cards, Pokémon and other trading card games, autographed memorabilia, vintage collectibles, sealed wax, hobby supplies, and more. Attendees will have opportunities to buy, sell, trade, and connect with fellow collectors and dealers throughout the day.
The show is designed for hobbyists of all ages and experience levels, with dealer specials, grading submission services, and exclusive collectibles expected to be available.
Early admission begins at 9 a.m., with general admission starting at 10 a.m. Children ages 12 and under are admitted free.
