The Berks-Mont Business Association (BMBA) will host its next Coffee & Conversations networking event on Thursday, July 23, at The Residence at Boyertown.

Pottstown Middle School to Host Free Backpack and School Supply Giveaway

Pottstown Middle School will help students prepare for the upcoming school year by hosting a free backpack and school supply giveaway on Tuesday, Aug. 4.

Families are invited to visit the school between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., where students can receive a free backpack filled with school supplies while supplies last.

The event is designed to help students begin the new school year with the tools they need for success.

Registration Open for Norchester Red Knights Dek Hockey Fall Season

The Norchester Red Knights Dek Hockey program is accepting registrations for its Fall 2026 season, with opportunities available for boys and girls ages 4 to 18 from any school district or municipality.

No prior hockey experience is required, and rental equipment is available for participants. Games are played outdoors using a ball and sneakers, with no skating required. All games and practices take place at West Pottsgrove Elementary School.

The season runs from after Labor Day through before Thanksgiving. Games are scheduled on weekends, while teams practice one evening each week. Families may request to avoid a specific practice night.

The program offers intramural leagues for students in kindergarten through 12th grade, along with an instructional program for Pre-K and kindergarten participants.
