Pottsgrove Youth Field Hockey Camp

The Pottsgrove School District recently concluded its Youth Field Hockey Camp, giving young athletes a chance to develop their skills while enjoying a fun and supportive environment.

Throughout the week, campers worked on the fundamentals of field hockey, learned new techniques, and participated in drills and activities led by district coaches and Pottsgrove High School student volunteers.

The district thanked its coaches, volunteers, and campers for helping make this year's camp a success, highlighting the enthusiasm and teamwork displayed throughout the week.

North Coventry Zoning Hearing Board to Issue Decision on Proposed Sheetz

The North Coventry Township Zoning Hearing Board will meet on Thursday, July 9, to issue a decision regarding the zoning application submitted by 1395 S. Hanover Street, LLC, the applicant for a proposed Sheetz development.

The public meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at Fernbrook Lodge in Pottstown.

Township officials note that parking at the meeting location is limited. Overflow parking will be available near the park entrance, with a short walk to the lodge.

TriCounty Area Chamber Seeks Raffle Donations for Annual Golf Outing

The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce is asking local businesses and community members to help make this year's Golf Outing raffle its biggest yet.

Organizers are assembling two themed raffle baskets—a BBQ Basket and a Golf Basket—and are seeking donations to help fill them.

Requested items include company promotional merchandise, gift cards, golf-related products, barbecue and grilling accessories, and other raffle prizes.

Businesses and individuals who contribute will be recognized through event signage and promotional materials during the golf outing.

Those interested in making a donation are encouraged to contact the Chamber by email.
