Young Athletes Build Skills at Pottsgrove Youth Boys Basketball Camp

The Pottsgrove School District recently wrapped up its Youth Boys Basketball Camp, providing young athletes with an opportunity to develop their basketball skills while building confidence and having fun.

Throughout the camp, participants worked on the fundamentals of the game in a positive and supportive environment led by district coaches and assisted by Pottsgrove High School student volunteers.

District officials thanked the coaches and student volunteers for their dedication, noting that their guidance, encouragement, and commitment helped make this year's camp a memorable experience for the future Falcons.

Free Admission Offered During Museum Day at Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles

Visitors can explore more than a century of transportation history for free during Museum Day at the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles on Thursday, July 9.

Held as part of Boyertown's Freedom Fest, the event offers free admission during the museum's regular operating hours from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Guests can browse the museum's extensive collection of historic automobiles, bicycles, motorcycles, carriages, and other Pennsylvania-built vehicles while learning about the region's rich automotive heritage.

Museum Day at the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles is locally sponsored by Classic Auto Mall.

Carousel at Pottstown to Host Second Annual Community Day

The Carousel at Pottstown is inviting families to enjoy an afternoon of free activities during its Second Annual Community Day on Saturday, Aug. 8.

The celebration will take place from noon to 4 p.m. and will feature free carousel rides, a bounce house, and face painting for children.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet adoptable dogs from To Love a Canine Rescue, while a variety of food and refreshments will be available for purchase throughout the event.

Organizers encourage residents to bring family and friends for an afternoon of fun while celebrating one of Pottstown's most beloved community attractions.
