The larger-than-life duck once again drew smiles from paradegoers as it returned for the community's Independence Day festivities, adding to the festive atmosphere of the annual event.
Rotary members also reflected on the strong sense of community throughout the celebration, describing the parade as a memorable gathering filled with reunions, patriotic spirit, and enthusiastic crowds as Pottstown joined communities across the country in celebrating America's 250th anniversary.
The Pottstown Rotary Club's beloved duck continues to be a favorite part of the annual Independence Day parade, helping bring smiles to spectators while celebrating community pride and patriotism.

After Big Boy's Visit, Train Fans Can Keep the Fun Rolling at Greenberg's Train & Toy Show

If seeing Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014 steam through southeastern Pennsylvania sparked an interest in trains, another railroad-themed event is just around the corner.
Greenberg's Train & Toy Show returns to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks on July 18 and 19, offering two days of model railroading, collectible toys, interactive exhibits, and family-friendly activities.
The show features hundreds of vendor tables filled with model trains, accessories, scale models, and collectible toys, along with operating train layouts that showcase the creativity and craftsmanship of model railroad enthusiasts.
Visitors can also attend free workshops and seminars covering topics such as building model railroads, using digital command control systems, and creating realistic scenery and layouts.
Designed for hobbyists, collectors, families, and newcomers alike, the event also includes interactive exhibits for children and, at many shows, opportunities for kids to operate trains or enjoy a ride-on train attraction. Children are admitted free
