Tony Danza Bringing Live Show to Pottstown

SoulJoel’s at SunnyBrook has announced that actor, singer and entertainer Tony Danza will be coming to Pottstown for a special live performance in 2026.

The beloved television star, known for his roles in Who’s the Boss? and Taxi, has built a successful career spanning television, film, Broadway and live entertainment. In addition to acting, Danza is an accomplished singer and performer who has toured nationally with his live stage show.

The event will take place at SoulJoel’s at SunnyBrook, located at 50 Sunnybrook Road in Pottstown, offering fans the opportunity to see one of television’s most recognizable personalities in an intimate venue setting.

Central Berks Police Mourn Loss

of Officer Kristen Yeager

The Central Berks Police Department is mourning the loss of Officer Kristen Yeager, who died in the line of duty on May 29, 2026, while responding to a call for service.

In a statement, department officials described Yeager as a dedicated public servant who served her community with courage, compassion and an unwavering commitment to protecting others. Her service was marked by a strong devotion to her fellow officers, the residents she served and the responsibilities of her profession.

Law enforcement agencies and community members throughout the region are honoring Officer Yeager's sacrifice and extending condolences to her family, friends and colleagues during this difficult time.

Officer Yeager's death serves as a solemn reminder of the risks first responders face each day in service to their communities.

Parklane Hobbies Hosting RC

Racing Clinic in Douglassville

Parklane Hobbies is inviting RC enthusiasts to sharpen their skills during a special RC Setup and Driving Clinic on Thursday, June 4 in Douglassville.

The hands-on clinic is open to owners of 1/8-scale nitro and electric buggies and truggies and will feature instruction on both vehicle setup and advanced driving techniques.

The event will be led by Vin Manchanda, who will cover a variety of topics designed to help hobbyists improve their performance on and off the track.

Clinic Schedule:

• Practice Opens: Noon

• Clinic Begins: 4 p.m.

• Track Closes: 8 p.m.

Topics Include:

• Pit space setup and organization

• Preparing for race day

• Tire selection and gluing techniques

• RC setup fundamentals

• Advanced on-track driving skills

• Radio setup and adjustments

The clinic will be held at 2004 Weavertown Road, Douglassville.

Organizers say the event is a great opportunity for both newer and experienced RC racers to gain practical knowledge and take their hobby to the next level.
