Pottstown Rotary Helps Honor
Fallen Heroes with Flag Placement

Members of the Pottstown Rotary Club joined fellow community organizations and volunteers this weekend for Flag Placement Weekend at St. Aloysius and Highland Memorial Park Cemeteries.

Volunteers placed American flags at gravesites in honor of the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the United States military. Organizers said the annual tradition serves as a meaningful reminder of the courage, sacrifice and dedication shown by fallen service members.

Rotary members thanked everyone who participated in the event, highlighting the spirit of service, remembrance and patriotism shared throughout the community effort ahead of Memorial Day observances.

Have Been Joining All Month -
Here's What's Actually In It
If Mikey Caloca's name has been showing up in this newsletter and you've been meaning to check it out - this is the short version of what you actually get in Mikey's Money House:
3 live classes every week on rotating topics - credit, debt payoff, saving, side hustles, investing, organizing your accounts. Show up, ask questions, get answers.
A full curriculum with chapters and videos you can start tonight, plus 75 hours of past classes in the library.
Direct access to Mikey. You can DM him privately, and members can book a 1-hour 1-on-1 call with him.
$500+ in giveaways every month - he spins a wheel and hands out gift cards to members who post their wins.
A community that doesn't make money weird. As Mikey puts it: "There is nowhere on the internet that you can openly join people in such a difficult topic."
Money problems compound quietly. So does the work to fix them. The difference between people who get out and people who stay stuck usually isn't intelligence or willpower - it's whether they had a room of people doing it alongside them.
Mikey built that room. He'll tell you himself: "I think you belong here."
Pottstown Festival Celebrates
America 250 with Historic Design

The Pottstown GoFourth Festival has unveiled the inspiration behind its 2026 Semiquincentennial commemorative T-shirt, drawing from one of America’s earliest symbols of unity and independence — the historic Fugio Cent.
The coin, believed by many historians to have been designed by Benjamin Franklin, featured an image of the sun shining on a sundial alongside the Latin word “Fugio,” meaning “I flee” or “time flies.” Franklin also included the phrase “Mind your business” as a reminder about hard work and personal responsibility.

The reverse side of the coin displayed the message “We Are One” surrounded by thirteen chain links representing the original American colonies, symbolizing unity during the nation’s founding era.
Festival organizers say the design reflects the spirit of America’s upcoming 250th anniversary celebration, honoring the nation’s history while celebrating community pride and patriotism in Pottstown.Share Pottstown Local Scoop
