Lower Pottsgrove Honors Officers

During National Police Week

Lower Pottsgrove Township is recognizing the officers of the Lower Pottsgrove Township Police Department during National Police Week, honoring their dedication to public safety and service to the community.

Township officials expressed appreciation for the professionalism, courage and commitment demonstrated by officers each day, while also acknowledging the support provided by their families behind the scenes.

The recognition also serves as a time to remember law enforcement officers across the nation who lost their lives in the line of duty while protecting their communities.

Pottstown Family Center

Recognizes National Prevention Week

The Pottstown Family Center is recognizing National Prevention Week, a nationwide initiative focused on promoting mental health awareness and preventing substance misuse in communities across the country.

The annual campaign highlights the efforts of organizations, educators and community groups working to support prevention programs and provide resources that encourage healthy lifestyles and positive mental well-being.

As part of the observance, the Pottstown Family Center is encouraging residents to learn more about prevention efforts and available support services through educational materials provided by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

Officials say National Prevention Week serves as an important reminder of the value of education, early intervention and community support in building healthier communities.
