Funky Plant Sale Brings Rare

Botanical Finds to Pottstown

Plant enthusiasts and collectors are invited to explore the unusual during the upcoming Botanical Oddities Funky Plant Sale at Althouse Arboretum in Pottstown.

Scheduled for Saturday, May 16, the event will showcase a wide variety of rare and hard-to-find plants, including uncommon perennials, carnivorous plants, tropicals, unique houseplants, mushroom grow kits and native species.

Organizers say the sale is designed to celebrate the more unusual side of horticulture, featuring plants that spark curiosity and conversation. Expert growers will also be on-site to provide plant care tips, growing advice and information about the featured species.

The event will take place at Althouse Arboretum, 1794 Gilbertsville Road, with admission priced at $5 per car from 9 to 10 a.m. and free entry afterward.
