Carousel at Pottstown Moves Forward
After Case Resolution

The Carousel at Pottstown has acknowledged the resolution of a criminal case involving a former board member, marking a significant moment for the organization as it continues to move forward.
According to the organization, Adam Sager entered a guilty plea to a felony charge related to mishandling funds, resulting in a substantial financial loss. Leaders noted that the impact extended beyond finances, affecting operations, delaying progress and challenging the trust placed in the organization.
Despite the setback, the Carousel emphasized the strong response from the community, with volunteers, donors and supporters stepping up to help stabilize and sustain the organization during a difficult period. Their continued support played a key role in ensuring the Carousel remained open and operational.
Moving ahead, the organization says it is implementing stronger safeguards and reinforcing its commitment to transparency and accountability, while remaining focused on its mission to serve the community and preserve its legacy for future generations.

Attendees will receive a commemorative library glass and can enjoy live music during the evening.
The event will also include a silent auction and wine pull, giving guests additional ways to contribute to the library’s programs and services.
Organizers say the event is designed as a fun night out while raising support for the library’s ongoing efforts in the community.
