Sanatoga Fire Company Assists

at Exeter Township Fire

The Sanatoga Fire Company assisted in a structure fire response in Exeter Township on Thursday evening, providing manpower during the incident.

Initially dispatched to cover another station, Quint 58 and its crew were quickly redirected to the scene, where they supported fire suppression and overhaul operations for nearly three hours before returning to Lower Pottsgrove.

Fire officials also recognized the efforts of Station 25 and mutual aid companies, crediting their early actions with contributing to a successful outcome for an individual trapped during the incident.

Lower Pottsgrove Historical Society Hosts Open House and Wagon Dedication

The Lower Pottsgrove Historical Society is inviting the community to a special Open House and Wagon Dedication on Sunday, April 26 from 1 to 3 p.m.

The event will take place at the Sanatoga Chapel, 2341 E. High Street, offering visitors a chance to explore local history and take part in the dedication of a historic wagon.

Organizers encourage residents to stop by, learn more about the area’s heritage and enjoy an afternoon of community engagement.

Healthy Kids Day Returns to Pottstown YMCA

The Pottstown YMCA is inviting families to its upcoming Healthy Kids Day on April 24 from 5 to 7 p.m.

The event will feature a variety of activities, games and resources designed to promote healthy lifestyles for children. Attendees can also enjoy local vendors, sports activities, refreshments and community partnerships aimed at supporting youth wellness.

Organizers say the event is a great opportunity for families to connect, have fun and learn more about staying active and healthy.

Steel River Playhouse Lights

Up High Street Again

A familiar landmark on High Street is shining once again as the Steel River Playhouse unveils its newly restored marquee.

The updated feature marks a renewed chapter for the local theater, symbolizing a continued commitment to live performance and the arts in the community. The project was made possible through the support of a generous donor, helping bring new life to the venue’s exterior.
