Trading Card Event Highlights
Comics, Movies and More

The Philly Non-Sports Card Show is set to bring together collectors and enthusiasts for a unique event focused on trading cards beyond sports at the Philly Expo Center in Oaks PA
The show will feature a wide variety of collectibles, including cards related to comics, movies, television, history and specialty series, along with appearances from artists and industry guests. Attendees can browse displays from dealers across the country and get a preview of upcoming releases from trading card manufacturers.
Admission includes free promotional cards for collectors, while a special Saturday night dinner event will offer a themed meal, guest speakers and prize raffles for attendees.
Organizers note that advance tickets are required for the dinner, with availability limited.
Local Police Offer Safe
Medication Disposal Event

The West Pottsgrove Township Police Department, in partnership with the Upper Pottsgrove Township Police Department, will host a Drug Take Back Day on April 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Giant.
Residents are encouraged to bring unused or expired medications for safe and proper disposal. Officials say the initiative helps prevent misuse and keeps medications out of the wrong hands while protecting the environment.
The event is free and open to the public.
Fair Play Festival Set for May 30 at Pottsgrove

The Pottsgrove Soccer Club is gearing up for its upcoming Fair Play Festival, set for Saturday, May 30, 2026, promising a full day of fun, soccer and community activities.
Held on the soccer fields, the event will feature a variety of attractions for all ages, including bounce houses, carnival-style games, raffles, a 50/50 drawing, food specials and sweet treats.
In addition to the festival atmosphere, youth soccer games are expected to take place throughout the day, with schedules to be finalized closer to the event.
Organizers are encouraging families to come out, enjoy the festivities and celebrate the spirit of “Peace, Love & Soccer.”
Jake’s Flea Market Announces
Spring Event Lineup

Jake’s Flea Market in Barto is preparing for a busy spring season, highlighted by its upcoming Guitar & Music Show on Saturday and Sunday, May 2 and 3, 2026.
The event will take place both indoors and outdoors at Jake’s Treasure Barn, running rain or shine with free admission. Doors open at 8 a.m., with indoor vendor spaces already sold out. Outdoor vendor spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

In addition to the guitar show, the market has a full lineup of themed weekends, including a Record & Music Show (April 18–19), Toy Show (April 25–26), Jewelry and Gem Show (May 16–17), and a Card & Comic Show (May 30–31), among others.
Organizers say the events offer something for collectors, hobbyists and families looking for a unique weekend outing.
