Carousel Receives Grant
for Accessibility Improvements

The Carousel at Pottstown is celebrating a major boost to its accessibility efforts thanks to support from a local school group.
The Hill School Student Philanthropy Council recently awarded the organization a grant that will fund improvements to the site, including enhancements to the main entryway and the creation of a new accessible pathway from the west parking lot.
Organizers say the upgrades will help ensure that more visitors can comfortably access and enjoy the carousel experience.
The donation highlights continued community investment in making local attractions more inclusive and welcoming to all.
MCCC Hosts Family-Friendly Festival April 18

Montgomery County Community College is inviting families to a free community festival at its Pottstown Campus on April 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event will feature a wide range of activities, including hands-on art projects, lawn games, sweet treats, and free dental and health screenings, creating a fun and engaging day for all ages.
Kicking off the day, a “Pedal for the Future” bike ride will begin at 9 a.m., offering selected local youth the opportunity to learn about bike safety and maintenance before participating in a guided group ride alongside first responders and community partners.
Organizers say the festival is designed to bring the community together through creativity, wellness and connection, and is open to everyone.
Creative Fun Returns to Pottstown Library

The Pottstown Regional Public Library is inviting young community members to get creative during its upcoming Monthly Art Project.
The program will take place on Monday, April 13 at 1 p.m. in the library’s community room and is designed for children ages 3 and up.
As part of the library’s ongoing arts and literacy initiatives, the event offers a fun, hands-on opportunity for kids to explore creativity in a welcoming environment.
Families are encouraged to attend and participate in this free community activity.
