Comedy Takes the Stage in Pottstown

to Support Lifesaving Lung Care

This Friday evening, The Foundry Hall at RIVET in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, will transform into a hub of laughter and generosity as the Die Laughing Foundation hosts its Friday Night Comedy Benefit. Scheduled for September 12, 2025, the event aims to raise critical funds for the Penn Medicine Lung Transplant Program.

The night’s headliner, Bob Marsdale, will be joined by a full roster of comedians including Will Craig, Ryan Foster, Curran Doughtery, Ryan Kay, DJ Via, Alex Palumbo, and Zach Alasha. The event will be hosted by Daniel Keota, co-founder of the Die Laughing Foundation. Attendees can also expect raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and refreshments courtesy of Rivet Canteen & Assembly.

Doors to The Foundry Hall open at 6 p.m., with the show beginning an hour later. Tickets are available for $30 in advance and $40 at the door. All guests must be 18 or older to attend.

The Die Laughing Foundation was recently established by Daniel Keota and his wife Chelsea. Motivated by personal experience with the complexities of lung disease and transplantation, the couple created the foundation to support patients facing both the physical and financial challenges of lung transplants.

By uniting humor with heartfelt purpose, the benefit exemplifies how community-driven events can help drive medical support where it's most needed.

Fitness Meets Recovery at

Monster Mayhem Fundraiser

In a compelling blend of physical challenge and community purpose, the second annual Monster Mayhem Fundraiser is set to return November 8th, aiming to raise funds and awareness for addiction recovery through fitness.

Organized by Powered By Transformation, the event supports the organization’s FIT Recovery Program, which offers structured, personalized fitness training to individuals receiving inpatient substance abuse treatment. The program is designed to use physical movement as a tool for emotional and psychological healing, helping participants rebuild strength and structure during their recovery journey.

This year’s fundraiser promises a dynamic atmosphere, featuring competitions, raffles, and moving testimonials from those whose lives have been transformed by the program. Far from a traditional benefit, the event is framed as a celebration—of resilience, empowerment, and community solidarity.

Organizers are actively seeking sponsors, volunteers, and participants who share a commitment to health, recovery, and social impact. Proceeds will directly fund the expansion of FIT Recovery, allowing more individuals in treatment facilities to access this specialized support.

Those interested in contributing to the effort can reach out to Dr. Lori Davidson, founder and executive director of Powered By Transformation, or visit the organization’s website at pbyt.org for more information.

In an era where holistic recovery is gaining ground, Monster Mayhem stands out as a testament to the power of movement—one rep, and one life, at a time.

Nonprofit Seeks New Leadership to Expand Fitness-Based Recovery Mission

Powered By Transformation, a nonprofit dedicated to combining fitness and addiction recovery, is actively seeking new members for its Board of Directors. The organization invites individuals with a passion for wellness, advocacy, and community service to help steer its growing mission.

With a focus on one-on-one personal training for individuals in and outside of treatment facilities, the organization’s FIT Recovery Program is rooted in the belief that physical strength can serve as a foundation for emotional and psychological transformation. Now in a phase of expansion, Powered By Transformation is calling on professionals with experience in leadership, fundraising, or advocacy to support its next chapter.

Prospective board members will work closely with the leadership team to help guide strategy, develop outreach initiatives, and ensure that the organization continues delivering life-changing services to those in recovery. While prior board experience is welcome, it is not required—only a commitment to the organization’s core values of transformation, inclusion, and community-driven care.

Those interested in joining are encouraged to contact Founder and Executive Director Dr. Lori Davidson at [email protected] for more information.

As the nonprofit broadens its impact, its leadership remains committed to a guiding principle: true recovery is built not only through treatment, but through movement, mentorship, and meaningful connection.
