SunnyBrook to Host 3rd Annual
Small Business Saturday Event

SoulJoel Presents the 3rd Annual Shop Small Business Saturday inside the historic SunnyBrook Ballroom—offering the community a festive and convenient way to support local entrepreneurs and complete their holiday shopping in one stop.

The event will take place on Saturday, November 30th, with doors opening at 11:00 AM and shopping continuing until 4:00 PM. Admission is free for all attendees. Shoppers who register online in advance will receive a complimentary SoulJoel’s shopping bag upon arrival.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, Gatsby’s Pub will open at 12:00 PM, serving food and drinks throughout the day—exclusively for this event.

‘The Wizard of Oz’ to Enchant Audiences at Steel River Playhouse This October

Steel River Playhouse is set to bring a beloved classic to life this fall with its production of The Wizard of Oz, running from October 10 through 26.

Audiences will be transported to the whimsical land of Oz, where Dorothy Gale—swept away by a sudden twister—embarks on a journey filled with wonder, friendship, and discovery. Along the Yellow Brick Road, she encounters iconic characters including the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion, as they join forces to outwit dangers and seek the mysterious Wizard.

With timeless themes of courage, heart, and the meaning of home, this family-friendly production promises to capture the imagination of theatergoers of all ages. The Steel River Playhouse invites the community to experience this magical adventure and rediscover a story that continues to resonate across generations.

Strategic Leadership Changes Signal New Era at Barry Isett & Associates

Barry Isett & Associates is undergoing a leadership transition with Andrew Lawler named President, succeeding Kevin Campbell, who will remain CEO. The firm also appointed Jennifer Isett as Chair of the Board, succeeding her father and company founder, Barry Isett, who becomes Chair Emeritus. These changes reflect a strategic focus on continuity, legacy, and future growth.

Pottstown Dance Theatre Hosts Final Open House Ahead of Fall Session

Pottstown Dance Theatre will hold its final Open House of the season on Wednesday, August 27th, from 5 to 8 PM, inviting new and returning students to register for fall classes beginning September 8th.

Located at 72 W Main Street in Pottstown, the school offers a wide range of classes, including Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip-Hop, African, Acro, Creative Movement, and more. Ballet instruction is rooted in the esteemed Vaganova Syllabus, reflecting a strong commitment to technical excellence.

Known for its student-centered approach, Pottstown Dance Theatre places dancers in levels that both challenge and support their development—emphasizing growth at an individualized pace while nurturing confidence.

Whether training for a professional career or simply dancing for the joy it brings, students will find a welcoming and enriching environment. Families are encouraged to stop by during the open house to meet instructors, explore the studio, and enroll in classes.
