Shop Local at Sunnybrook’s Second Annual Small Business Saturday

Sunnybrook Ballroom in Pottstown, PA, is hosting its second annual "Small Business Saturday" shopping event on November 30th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., inviting the community to shop from over 110 local small businesses. The event offers free admission and parking, with live music and a special artist basket raffle to add to the festive atmosphere. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit Operation 143, a charity dedicated to providing weekend meals for food-insecure students.

In addition to shopping, visitors can enjoy food and drinks from the on-site restaurant and bar, with an ATM available for added convenience. Sunnybrook’s iconic setting and a lively array of vendors make this an ideal opportunity to complete holiday shopping while supporting small businesses in the region.

Catch Comedian Rich Aronovitch Live at SoulJoel’s Comedy Club

SoulJoel's Comedy Club in Pottstown, PA, is set to host comedian Rich Aronovitch on Friday, November 15, for a night of stand-up comedy. Known for his dynamic performances and unique humor, Aronovitch has been featured on major networks like AXS’s Gotham Comedy Live, The Food Network’s Beat Bobby Flay, and HBO’s Bomani Jones. A regular performer at New York City’s Comedy Cellar and Gotham Comedy Club, he has also gained a strong social media following for his viral dance videos, which have led to appearances on NBC’s Access Daily, a Tiesto music video, and live performances with Limp Bizkit.

Skimming Devices Found at Area Royal Farms Locations, Customers Urged to
Check Statements

Customers of Royal Farms in the Delaware Valley area are advised to check their bank and credit card statements after skimming devices were found on registers at various locations, including Marple and Glenolden. Marple police reported discovering a skimmer on Saturday at the Royal Farms store located at 2130 West Chester Pike, with indications suggesting the device may have been in place for at least a week before detection.

Those who made purchases at Royal Farms between November 1 and 9 are encouraged to review their accounts for any suspicious transactions. Skimmers—devices used to capture card information—can lead to unauthorized charges and potential financial loss if not promptly addressed. Similar devices have reportedly been discovered at Royal Farms locations across the region, according to local news sources.
