Gazzo’s Steaks Hosts Mark The Bagger

Book Signing with Anthony Garbarino

Gazzo's Steaks in Pottstown will host a special in-store event on Saturday, November 23, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., featuring Mark The Bagger and Anthony Garbarino from The Howard Stern Show. Fans will have the chance to meet the two, get autographed copies of Anthony's new "Mark The Bagger" book, and take photos with them.

Books are expected to sell out quickly, so fans are encouraged to arrive early to secure their copy. Gazzo's Steaks is excited to welcome everyone for this unique opportunity to connect with Mark The Bagger and Anthony in person.

Montgomery County Community College Hosts CareerLink Job Support Event Nov. 15th

Montgomery County Community College will be hosting PA CareerLink for a special event on Friday, November 15, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., offering individualized workshops and one-on-one appointments for job seekers. Held in South Hall, Room 117, at 101 College Drive in Pottstown, PA, this event provides an excellent opportunity for those looking to improve their job search skills, resume development, and interview techniques.

Participants will have access to valuable resources including no-cost career counseling, job search strategies, resume development sessions, and job training information. This event, part of the American Job Center network’s "On the Road" initiative, is free to attend, but registration is required. Gilbertsville Firefighters Host Festive
Breakfast with Santa on Dec. 15

Gilbertsville Fire & Rescue Company invites families to kick off the holiday season with a joyful pancake breakfast alongside Santa on December 15th from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Visitors will enjoy a delicious morning feast prepared by the community's volunteer firefighters at the fire station, located at 1454 E. Philadelphia Ave. in Gilbertsville, PA.

In addition to breakfast, guests will have a chance to meet Santa Claus himself and capture the memory with photos. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own cameras for pictures with Santa. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children aged 3 to 10. The event will accept cash only, and all proceeds will benefit Gilbertsville Fire & Rescue.

Pottstown Man Faces Decades in

Prison for Violent ATM Robberies

Dorrian Christopher Thompson of Pottstown has been sentenced to 15 to 30 years in prison for a series of armed kidnappings and robberies. Over three incidents in March 2023, he forced victims to withdraw cash at gunpoint, threatening their lives. One victim sustained serious injuries after leaping from a moving vehicle to escape. Surveillance footage and DNA evidence led to Thompson’s conviction.

Dinner, Mystery, and Friends Fun Await

at SoulJoel’s Murder Mystery Night!

SoulJoel’s at Sunnybrook Ballroom is presenting a Friends-themed Murder Mystery Dinner, featuring a special menu crafted by executive chef Scott Reddy. This exciting event will take place on Wednesday, November 13, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served from 6 to 7:30 p.m., followed by the interactive murder mystery show from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Guests will enjoy a delicious meal as they dive into the world of Friends, unraveling clues to solve the mystery while mingling with others. At the end of the evening, attendees will have the chance to cast their vote for who they think the “killer” might be. Tickets for this unique dinner-and-show experience are $60 per person, which includes both the meal and the show.
