Pottsgrove School District is hosting a job fair on October 10 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 1301 Kauffman Rd, Pottstown, PA. Walk-ins are welcome, or you can RSVP by emailing [email protected].

The job fair offers opportunities for both full-time and part-time support positions, including roles in facilities, custodial work, special education teaching, BCBA, and a long-term substitute psychologist position.

During Fire Prevention Week

As Fire Prevention Week kicks off, the Pottstown Fire Department and Emergency Management remind the community to check their smoke detectors. A functioning smoke detector can save lives, but it’s only effective if it's working properly.

If you need assistance testing or replacing your smoke detectors, local firefighters are ready to help. Don’t hesitate to reach out and ensure your home is safe and prepared.

Adam Carolla Brings the Laughs

to SoulJoel’s in Pottstown 

Get ready for a night of laughs as comedian Adam Carolla makes his debut at SoulJoel’s on Friday, October 11th, and Saturday, October 12th. There will be two shows each night at 7 PM and 9:30 PM. Doors open at 6 PM for the early show and 9 PM for the late show. Tickets are $45 for general admission, with a limited number of VIP Meet and Greet tickets available for $75.

Pottstown GoFourth! Invites North End Homeowners to Participate in Holiday Tour

Mark your calendars! On Sunday, December 8th, from 1-4 PM, Pottstown GoFourth! will be hosting its annual Historic Pottstown Holiday Tour, featuring homes in the North End. This festive event is a wonderful way to experience the charm of Pottstown’s historic homes, many of which are a “work in progress,” adding to their unique appeal.

Homeowners in the North End: If your home is located on Charlotte, Franklin, or Evans between Wilson and Mervine, and you’re interested in participating, you don’t need a perfect or large home to join. This event is a great way to motivate yourself to finish that home project and have your holiday decorating done early!
