Grilled Cheese Fans Unite at 2024 Cheesetoberfest on October 6

This year's Cheesetoberfest, a beloved grilled cheese competition, will take place on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 12 to 3 PM. The event, which supports the TriCounty Active Adult Center, promises an exciting lineup of grilled cheese offerings from local restaurants, organizations, caterers, and more.

Attendees can enjoy tasting and voting for their favorite grilled cheese creations, shopping with local vendors, and enjoying live music along with a beer tent. It's a community-focused event that blends delicious comfort food with a lively atmosphere, drawing hundreds of participants each year.

Magical Morning of Stories and Rides at

the Carousel with Miss Amber

Story Time with Miss Amber at the Carousel is set to be a delightful morning for children and families on Saturday, October 12th, from 11 AM to 12 PM. Kids can enjoy a magical hour of storytelling, laughter, and a chance to ride the carousel afterward. Miss Amber, known for her engaging tales, will captivate young minds with exciting stories in this whimsical setting. It’s the perfect way to spend a morning filled with fun and imagination, with plenty of carousel fun to follow!

Final Call for Pottstown Area Youth

Dek Hockey Sign-Ups This Weekend

Pottstown area families still have time to register their children for fall youth dek hockey, with sign-ups closing this weekend. Hosted at West Pottsgrove Elementary, this co-ed sport welcomes kids from ages 4 to 18, with no prior experience required. The season runs from after Labor Day until just before Thanksgiving, featuring games on Saturdays and Sundays, starting with the oldest age group and ending with the youngest. First Annual Passport Fair Coming to

Pottstown Library on November 2

Mark your calendars for the Pottstown Regional Public Library’s First Annual Passport Fair on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 10 AM to 3 PM. This event offers a convenient opportunity for individuals and families to complete the entire U.S. passport application process. Certified passport agents will be on-site to answer questions, take photos, and process applications. Brews for Bassetts This Weekend!

This Saturday, October 5, from 12 to 3 PM, don’t miss the 8th Annual Brews for Bassetts event! Hosted in the beer garden, this event supports the Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue, with a portion of sales going to help the rescue’s mission. Attendees can meet adorable Basset Hounds on-site, browse new merchandise, and try their luck with raffle baskets. It’s a fun-filled afternoon of good brews and an even better cause! In case of rain, the event will take place on Sunday, October 6.
