Stable 12 Brewing is hosting a special "Dine and Donate" event on September 9th from 5-10 PM to honor the memory of Jacquie D’Innocenzo, a beloved bartender at the brewery. Jacquie, known for her bright smile and love for the Phillies, passed away unexpectedly on August 2nd. In tribute to her, the brewery invites patrons to wear their Phillies gear while attending the event. Proceeds will go toward helping Jacquie's family with the unexpected expenses they now face. It's a meaningful way for the community to gather, celebrate Jacquie’s life, and support her loved ones.

Barry Isett & Associates Names Andrew Lawler as New Chief Operating Officer

Barry Isett & Associates, Inc. has named Andrew Lawler as their new Chief Operating Officer. Lawler, a United States Naval Academy graduate and former Marine Corps pilot, brings extensive leadership experience from roles at Lutron Electronics, VEC Inc., and West Side Hammer. In his new position, he will manage the firm’s Design, Field, and Public Divisions while assisting with company operations and strategic planning. Line Dancing at SunnyBrook Ballroom with DJ Dan

SoulJoel’s Presents a fun-filled evening of line dancing at the historic SunnyBrook Ballroom, offering over 14,000 square feet of space to dance.

The event, hosted by DJ Dan, kicks off with beginner lessons from 6:30 to 7 PM, followed by open dancing from 7 to 10:30 PM. Guests can enjoy food from Gatsby’s Pub and a full bar throughout the night. DJ Dan, with over 20 years of experience and a strong presence in the line dancing community, promises an exciting event. Grab tickets here!

Free parking is available, but no outside food or drinks are permitted.

Fleatwood Mac Tribute Band to Perform at Rivet in Pottstown on September 14th

Rivet in Pottstown will host Fleatwood Mac, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Doors open at 7:00 PM with music starting at 8:00 PM. The tribute band aims to recreate the magic of Fleetwood Mac’s timeless hits. Tickets are available for $15 in advance or $20 at the door, and the event is open to all ages. Norby Homers Twice, Cabrera Dominates as Marlins Crush Phillies 10-1

Edward Cabrera pitched seven scoreless innings, and Connor Norby homered twice as the Miami Marlins defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 10-1. Cabrera allowed just three hits and struck out six, while Norby’s homers helped power Miami to a commanding lead. Phillies starter Seth Johnson struggled in his major league debut, giving up seven runs in just 2 1/3 innings. Bryce Harper’s RBI single in the ninth inning avoided a shutout for the Phillies. Miami split the four-game series with the NL East leaders.
