DNA Reveals Truth in Deadly Salisbury Township Crash

A Montgomery County man has been charged with homicide by vehicle while DUI after DNA evidence revealed he lied about his role in a fatal 2022 crash in Salisbury Township. Robert Thomas Bulett, 22, initially claimed he was a passenger, but police determined he was the driver when the car, traveling at 97 mph in a 40 mph zone, crashed and killed 18-year-old Mason Gentry of Warwick Township. Drugs were found in the vehicle and on Bulett, who later admitted to being the driver.

A new hockey rink in New Hanover Community Park officially opened on Monday, thanks to the efforts of 11-year-old Lilly Walter and 12-year-old Natalie Van Druff. The young hockey players led a successful campaign to save the old rink from being turned into pickleball courts, securing a $200,000 donation from Flyers Charities to fund the project. The grand opening included speeches, a free skate session, and appearances from Flyers players and local officials.

Marlins Shut Out Phillies in Walker’s Comeback Start

Taijuan Walker returned to the Phillies' mound after nearly two months on the injured list, but his comeback was rough. He gave up three runs in the first inning and a solo homer in the third before exiting after four innings with three earned runs, three walks, and five strikeouts. Despite improving after the first, Walker's efforts weren’t enough.

The Phillies' offense struggled against Marlins rookie Valente Bellozo, who pitched seven shutout innings. Their best chance came in the fourth inning but ended with a flyout. The 5-0 loss marked the Phillies’ fourth straight defeat, dropping their record to 69-50.
