Major Drug Ring Busted in PA: $5M in Narcotics Seized
Four men in Pennsylvania have been arrested for allegedly trafficking over $5 million in cocaine and methamphetamine from California. The suspects, identified as Matthew James Byrne, Joseph Byrne, Khalik Kemp, and Christian Garwood, reportedly used Bluetooth speakers to conceal and ship the drugs through the postal service to Bucks and Montgomery counties.
Matthew Byrne is accused of leading the operation, frequently traveling to California to buy drugs from brokers linked to Mexico. Authorities intercepted three shipments containing $1.2 million worth of drugs during the investigation, which tracked 12 shipments in total.
All four suspects face charges, including possession with intent to distribute. Two additional suspects in California remain at large. The investigation is ongoing, with the arrested men held on bail ranging from $1 million to $5 million.

Jalen Hurts Shines in Eagles Camp, Sets Franchise Record

Wednesday marked the tenth day of Philadelphia Eagles training camp, with a lighter practice at the NovaCare Complex. Jalen Hurts continues to impress, possibly having his best camp yet, with sharp decision-making and accuracy, though he missed a few throws. Hurts remains interception-free in camp, setting a franchise record.
Injury updates include Tyler Steen's full return, while C.J. Gardner-Johnson and others remain sidelined. Key position battles saw Mekhi Becton taking first-team reps at right guard, Isaiah Rodgers leading at cornerback, and Devin White and Zack Baun holding first-team linebacker spots. The Eagles' coaching strategy remains a point of concern, particularly Nick Sirianni's conservative play-calling in certain scenarios.
U.S. Womenโs Basketball Reaches Semifinals After Beating Nigeria
The U.S. women's basketball team advanced to the Olympic semifinals with an 88-74 victory over Nigeria, marking their 59th consecutive Olympic win. Aโja Wilson led with 20 points, and Jackie Young, newly added to the starting lineup, contributed 15 points and strong defense.
Despite a lineup change that benched veteran Diana Taurasi, the U.S. started strong, leading 26-17 after the first quarter and extending the lead to 52-33 by halftime. Nigeria's historic run ended with the loss, but they made history as the first African nation to reach the Olympic quarterfinals.
The U.S. will face Australia in the semifinals, aiming for an eighth consecutive gold medal.
