Philadelphia Union

The Philadelphia Union suffered a 2-0 defeat against Charlotte FC at Subaru Park. The loss marked a disappointing home performance for the Union, who struggled to find their rhythm throughout the match. Charlotte FC capitalized on their chances with goals from forwards Karol Świderski and Enzo Copetti. Despite several attempts, the Union were unable to penetrate Charlotte's defense and secure a goal. This defeat impacts the Union's standings as they aim to secure a favorable position in the league.

The Union faithful a growing restless as audible chants from the River End and Sons of Ben could audibly be heard with chants of ‘Sell the Team’ and a plethora of comments expressing displeasure on Social Media.

It is worth noting that 5 starters are playing in International call up games including Goalie Andre Blake and the Union’s leading scorer Daniel Gazdag.

Here’s to hoping things turn around quickly.
