Unleashed Counseling Initiates Monthly Pet Loss Support Group in Pottstown

Unleashed Counseling is delighted to announce a Pet Loss Support Group, designed for individuals aged 18 and older. This supportive gathering will take place monthly on the first Sunday at 11:00 a.m., within our welcoming community space located at 1800 East High Street, Suite 100, Pottstown, PA. The upcoming session is scheduled for April 7.

This initiative aims to offer a compassionate environment for those mourning the loss of their cherished pets. Under the guidance of Dr. Flor, attendees will find a space to share their experiences and navigate through their grief alongside others facing similar pain. We encourage walk-in participants, ensuring everyone who needs support can find it. For those who prefer, there’s also an option to inform us of your attendance in advance by emailing [email protected].

The Pottstown Regional Public Library is thrilled to invite the community to explore and participate in their STEM and Gaming programs, designed to spark creativity, learning, and fun for all ages! Here's what's happening:

Maker Space Time

When? Every Monday at 4:00 PM

What? The Maker Space opens its doors for an interactive experience where you can get hands-on with cutting-edge devices under the guidance of our friendly librarians. Whether you're curious about 3D printing, want to explore the possibilities with a Cricut, or engage with Legos, Paper Circuits, and Ozobots, there's something here for you. The Maker Space is available every day, with special events on Mondays for personalized assistance.

Game Night in the Library

When? Every Thursday at 4:00 PM

What? Dive into the world of games at the library! From tabletop and board games to deck-building adventures, we have a wide selection to suit every taste. Each week, we spotlight one of our exciting games. This is a fantastic opportunity for players of all ages to come together and share in the joy of gaming. Please note that games are available for in-library play only and not for circulation.

Lego Club

When? Fridays at 4:00 PM

What? The Makerspace becomes a haven for Lego enthusiasts! This club is a great way to meet new friends, collaborate, and bring your imaginative creations to life. It's perfect for kids aged 6 and above, promising an afternoon of constructive play and creativity.

Switch Saturdays

When? Every Saturday at 2:00 PM

What? Calling all gamers aged 8-18! Our Makerspace is equipped with a Nintendo Switch, allowing groups of up to 8 to engage in exhilarating games like Mario Kart, Mario Party, and Super Smash Bros. While the Switch is available for smaller groups daily, Saturdays are specially reserved for large group play and exciting tournaments.
