Eleanor Kerrigan Brings Laughs to SoulJoel’s in Pottstown with
Stand-Up Performance

Eleanor Kerrigan, a renowned comedian known for her sharp wit and engaging humor, is set to headline once again at SoulJoel’s. The event, presented by SoulJoel, will take place at the SunnyBrook in Pottstown, PA, on Saturday, November 25th, with doors opening at 6pm and the show starting at 7pm. Fans of stand-up comedy can enjoy the show with general admission tickets priced at $20, while VIP tickets are available for $30.
Eleanor Kerrigan's journey in comedy is as fascinating as her performances. She began her career as a waitress at the iconic Comedy Store, where she honed her comedic skills alongside some of the nation's top comedians. Her transition from the kitchen of the Comedy Store to the stage was propelled by encouragement from comedian Andrew Dice Clay. After working together on “Dice Undisputed,” Clay convinced Eleanor to showcase her talents in stand-up comedy, a decision that has delighted audiences nationwide.
Kerrigan's comedy is rooted in her unique upbringing in a large Irish-Catholic family in South Philly, offering an honest and hilarious perspective on life. Her experiences, from her childhood in a modest home to her adult life in Los Angeles, provide a rich tapestry for her storytelling.
Not just a stand-up comedian, Eleanor is also an accomplished actress, a graduate of the prestigious Joanne Baron and D.W. Brown acting studio. She's made her mark in various television roles, including a memorable stint as part of “Harley’s Angels” on UPN’s “Women of Wrestling,” and appearances on Nickelodeon, VH1, Howard Stern, and HBO. Kerrigan continues to tour the country with her distinctive style of comedy and has been featured in the last season of "Entourage." Don’t miss the opportunity to see her live at SoulJoel’s for a night of unforgettable humor and entertainment.

Union and FC Cincinnati Brace for Intense Semifinal Showdown
Amid Player Absences

As the Union gears up for their pivotal Eastern Conference semifinal clash against FC Cincinnati on Saturday, they're grappling with significant player absences. Key defenders from recent seasons, including the last two MLS defenders of the year and the league's top left back, won't be on the field. Despite these challenges, Union coach Jim Curtin remains optimistic, viewing this as a chance for unexpected players to shine.
Curtin emphasized the depth of both teams and the potential for surprise performances in the playoffs, suggesting that this could be a time for an unheralded player to step up. The game promises to be a departure from the ideal lineups of both teams, with FC Cincinnati's coach Pat Noonan also facing adjustments due to suspensions and injuries.
Cincinnati's strategy might involve repurposing former Union players Alvas Powell or Ray Gaddis in defense, as they deal with injuries and fitness concerns in their squad. Meanwhile, the Union have had an 18-day break, aiding in player recovery but limiting tactical preparation due to international duties. Key players like Jakob Glesnes and Leon Flach are on the mend, with Curtin praising Glesnes' leadership and resilience.
The Union's international players have returned without issues, but the team has had limited time to prepare tactically for the match. Curtin notes the challenge of keeping the players focused during the break and emphasizes the importance of disciplined play in the upcoming game. The match will hinge on strategic matchups and maintaining control amidst the intensity of playoff competition.
Flyers Falter in Power Play, Fall 3-1
to Rangers Amid Home Crowd's
Mixed Allegiances

The Philadelphia Flyers faced disappointment in a 3-1 loss against the New York Rangers, with nearly 40% of the crowd at Wells Fargo Center supporting the opposing team.
The Flyers' ongoing struggle with power play opportunities was evident as they failed to score in six attempts. Rangers' goalie Igor Shesterkin's exceptional performance further hindered the Flyers' efforts. Despite a challenging game, which included Noah Cates returning after a significant injury, the Flyers showed determination. The team's physical play and the predominance of Rangers fans highlighted the intensity of the rivalry. Coach John Tortorella noted the need for improved discipline, particularly in preventing counterattacks. The Flyers, who are in the middle of a critical series against Metropolitan Division teams, recognize the importance of upcoming games for their playoff aspirations.
