Rodney Norman, a comedian widely recognized on social media for his unique humor, is set to perform at SoulJoel’s in SunnyBrook on Friday, November 17th at 7pm. Tickets are available at $20 for general admission and $30 for VIP. Located at 50 Sunnybrook Road in Pottstown, PA, the show presents an opportunity to experience Norman's engaging and honest comedy style. Reading Announces Traffic Plan for Upcoming Holiday Parade

The City of Reading is preparing for its Holiday Parade on November 18th with a comprehensive traffic plan. Parking restrictions start on November 17th on several key streets, including sections of Penn Street, with towing enforcement beginning early on parade day. Major road closures around City Park and Penn Street will be implemented from 7:00 am, with detours in place for those entering via the Penn St. bridge. The parade is a festive opportunity for the community to celebrate, and Mayor Eddie Morán encourages everyone to participate in the downtown festivities.

Reading Woman Sentenced to Decade
in Prison for Leading Drug Ring

Jessica Lopez-Albino, 38, from Reading, has been sentenced to 10 to 20 years in state prison for her role in a drug ring distributing fentanyl and cocaine in Berks and Montgomery counties. Her guilty plea encompassed charges of being part of a corrupt organization and intent to deliver fentanyl, among others. The operation, active from February to November 2022, was largely concentrated in Reading and Norristown. This sentencing follows the imprisonment of co-leader Carlos Lopez-Rosado, who was sentenced to 11 to 22 years. Both were apprehended as part of Operation Caribbean Snowfall, a joint law enforcement effort.

Nathan Echevarria Detained on
Multiple Charges Involving a Minor

Nathan E. Echevarria, 21, from Reading, PA, was arrested in Feasterville by the Lower Southampton Township Police and the Berks County Sheriff’s Department for multiple sexual offenses against a juvenile. He faces charges including sexual assault and corruption of minors. Echevarria, who was taken into custody without incident and has undergone a video arraignment, is being held on a $750,000 bail at the Bucks County Correctional Facility pending his court date.
