The closure of a key homeless center and limited shelter availability exacerbate the issue. Advocates are fighting for the rights of the homeless amid these challenging circumstances.

The Foundation for the Reading Pagoda, city officials, and community members are mobilizing efforts to raise funds. A community-wide endeavor, including a possible reallocation of $3 million in city funding and grassroots fundraising, aims to restore the Pagoda and its surroundings.
