 About Gianmarco:

Gianmarco Soresi is a stand-up comedian, actor, and a little too much for some people. He’s told jokes on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Comedy Central, Netflix’s Bonding, Don’t Tell, The Real Housewives of New York for some reason, and he was a JFL New Face in 2022.

He’s acted in Billy Crystal’s Here Today, Hustlers, The Last OG, and in his theater days shared the stage with some people who’ve gone on to become huge real estate agents. You can see him post the kind of crowd work clips that are arguably destroying the artform of stand-up comedy everywhere @gianmarcosoresi and he obviously has a podcast called The Downside with Gianmarco Soresi.

Speeding Tractor-Trailer Overturns in Wyomissing, Causes Traffic Disruptions on Multiple Routes

On Thursday night, a speeding tractor-trailer overturned near the Berkshire Mall on Route 222 in Wyomissing, resulting in significant traffic delays.

Authorities reported that the tractor-trailer collided with a BMW during its rapid entrance onto the highway. Consequently, the truck, which was transporting large paper rolls, tipped over.

The BMW driver was hospitalized with minor injuries, while the truck driver remained unharmed.

This incident caused traffic congestion on Routes 222, 422, and 12. Police have confirmed that the truck driver will receive a citation for excessive speed. The accident occurred approximately at 6:30 p.m.

Reading Man Evades DUI Checkpoint, Crashes During Pursuit; Faces Multiple Charges Including Marijuana Possession

A Reading PA man, Justin L. Sudler, bypassed a DUI checkpoint and later crashed his car during a police pursuit. Arrested on suspicion of DUI and held on a $15,000 bail, Sudler faces additional charges, including evading police and marijuana possession, after officers found drugs in his clothing.

Convicted Murderer Escapes from Chester County Prison

Danelo Susa Cavalcante, a Montgomery County man sentenced to life for the brutal murder of his ex-girlfriend in 2021, has reportedly escaped from Chester County Prison. District Attorney Deb Ryan, who prosecuted Cavalcante, confirmed the breakout, which occurred around 8 a.m. Thursday. Cavalcante, described as 5-feet tall, weighing 120 pounds, with bushy hair and an unshaven face, was last spotted near the prison on Pocopson Road.

Previously wanted in Brazil for another murder, Cavalcante is labeled "extremely dangerous." Authorities urge anyone who spots him to avoid interaction and immediately dial 9-1-1. He had been residing in the prison temporarily after sentencing, consulting his lawyers regarding a potential appeal before transitioning to the state prison system.

This escape marks a rare event for the county's 700-inmate facility, with the last significant breakout occurring in the 1990s.

The crime for which Cavalcante was convicted involved the brutal stabbing of his ex-girlfriend, Deborah Brandao, in front of her two young children. He was apprehended in Virginia a day after the murder, which took place after Brandao informed him of a warrant for his arrest in Brazil due to another murder. The tragedy culminated in a swift three-day trial ending on Aug. 16, where Cavalcante was found guilty and later sentenced by Judge Patrick Carmody.
