Chester County Woman Receives Jail Time for Third DUI, Endangering Infant Daughter

A Chester County woman, Chelsea Laurell Brotman, has been sentenced to 1 to 3 years in Montgomery County jail for driving under the influence of drugs in Upper Merion Township and endangering her 8-month-old daughter who was with her in the vehicle.

This incident, which occurred in May 2021, marks Brotman's third DUI offense. On the night of the incident, police found her appearing lethargic and confused, and later tests confirmed the presence of methamphetamine and fentanyl in her system. Further investigation revealed she had two prior DUIs and was driving with a suspended license. While additional charges were initially levied against her, they were subsequently dropped.

Pottstown Man Sentenced to Prison for Gun Possession

Quincy Scott Marks, a 32-year-old from Pottstown, has been sentenced to 4 to 8 years in prison for possessing a firearm illegally. During an investigation into drug activity in March 2020, Marks was found with a loaded gun he wasn't authorized to have, especially since he had a past felony burglary conviction. Additionally, the weapon had been reported stolen in 1999. After his prison term, Marks will be under court supervision for an additional 12 years.

Indianapolis Rookie Quarterback Showcases Potential in Preseason Win

In the recent preseason finale, the Indianapolis Colts triumphed over the Philadelphia Eagles 27-13. Rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson, who was named the starter post the preseason opener against Buffalo, exhibited potential but also room for growth.

The quarterback, a No. 4 overall pick from Florida, managed 6 completions out of 17 attempts, throwing for 78 yards. He also rushed five times, gaining 38 yards in the first half. During one notable drive, Richardson connected with Kylen Granson for 17 yards while skillfully avoiding two potential sacks. However, he did miss on a few throws.

For the Eagles, key starters including Jalen Hurts didn't play. Backup quarterback Marcus Mariota completed a single pass out of two attempts, throwing for 21 yards.
