Berks County Coroner Seeks Relatives of Deceased Man in Boyertown

The Berks County coroner's office is seeking the assistance of the public in locating the relatives of a man who was discovered deceased in his apartment in Boyertown.

The deceased individual has been identified as Felix Luis Garcia-Rivera. His lifeless body was found on Monday within his residence located on South Reading Avenue, according to the coroner.

No details have been provided regarding the cause of Garcia-Rivera's death. The authorities have not disclosed any information in this regard.

Individuals who possess any information about the deceased's next of kin are kindly urged to contact the coroner's office at 610-478-3280. The coroner's office is actively seeking to establish contact with Garcia-Rivera's relatives in order to make appropriate notifications and arrangements.

No Jackpot Winners in Powerball Drawing, Grand Prize Soars to $725 Million

Following Monday's Powerball drawing, lottery officials announced that there were no jackpot winners, causing the grand prize to increase to an estimated $725 million. This places it as the seventh largest Powerball jackpot in history. The next drawing for this massive prize will take place on Wednesday. The lump-sum cash value of the prize, before tax deductions, is estimated at $366.2 million, as reported by Powerball.

While there were no jackpot winners, there were still some winners from the drawing. Two tickets, sold in California and Iowa, matched all five white balls, with the California ticket winning a $1 million prize and the Iowa ticket securing $2 million by utilizing the Power Play feature. In addition, there were 28 tickets that won $50,000 prizes and 12 tickets that won $100,000 prizes, according to Powerball.

This marks the 35th consecutive drawing without a jackpot winner. The most recent instance of a player matching all five white balls and the red Powerball was on April 19, when a lucky ticket holder in Ohio claimed a grand prize of $252.6 million.

Notably, the largest-ever Powerball prize of $2.04 billion was won in California on November 7.

Meanwhile, another enormous lottery prize is up for grabs in the Mega Millions. The current jackpot for Mega Millions is estimated at $480 million, as stated on the official website. The drawing for Mega Millions will take place on Tuesday at 11 pm ET.
