Pottstown Law Firm Receives Recognition

Attorneys Named to SuperLawyers for PA List

Wolf, Baldwin & Associates, P.C., a prominent law firm based in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, is proud to announce that two of its lawyers, Levi S. Wolf and Daniel E. McCabe, have once more been recognized as top attorneys in Pennsylvania for 2023 by Super Lawyers magazine. Both attorneys have been honored for their contributions and expertise in Workers' Compensation law.

Furthermore, the Daily Local newspaper has distinguished Mr. Wolf as one of the leading Workers' Compensation lawyers in Montgomery County for the year 2023.

Mr. Wolf and Mr. McCabe were pioneers in their field, becoming two of the inaugural attorneys in Pennsylvania to be certified as specialists in workers' compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Section on Workers' Compensation Law, under the auspices of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, back in 2013.

The Super Lawyers magazine follows a patented selection process involving several stages to compile their list of the state's top attorneys. The procedure begins with peer nominations, which are then verified via third-party research across 12 categories. Afterward, candidates are categorized by practice area and reviewed by those lawyers who garnered the highest totals in each category. Ultimately, the Super Lawyers list includes 5% of the state's attorneys, with 2.5% being designated as Rising Stars.

Mr. Wolf was previously recognized as a "Rising Star" by SuperLawyer magazine in 2011 and 2012, and he has been a fixture on the Super Lawyers list annually since 2014. Mr. McCabe has been a SuperLawyer listee since 2021.

Upon receiving the recognition, Mr. Wolf commented, "It's always a privilege to be acknowledged by our peers and our clients, especially during our firm's 50th-anniversary year. We are committed to continuing our service to the injured workers in Pennsylvania." Mr. McCabe added, "It's truly humbling to receive recognition from our fellow attorneys for the work we do. Helping people secure the benefits they deserve is a gratifying job."

Established in 1973 by Jack F. Wolf and joined by Bruce Baldwin in 1987, Wolf, Baldwin & Associates, P.C. has grown to include offices in Pottstown, Pennsburg, Reading, and West Chester, employing 23 individuals.

Disney and Comcast Engage in Strategic Battle for Hulu

The ongoing saga between Disney and Comcast for the control of Hulu, which has lasted for ten years, is poised to reach its climax at the beginning of 2024.

At that point, one of the two corporations will be required to purchase the remaining shares, with Disney currently holding a two-thirds stake and Comcast a one-third stake.

Given that Bob Iger, Disney's CEO, has previously outlined intentions to integrate Hulu into Disney+ as a section for a broader range of entertainment content, it seems highly probable that Disney will invest several billion dollars in the coming year to finalize the acquisition.
